EuroTier 2026: Jefo Showcases the Innovations Shaping the Future of Animal Nutrition in Europe
Hanover, Germany – November 2026 – At EuroTier 2026, Jefo, a global leader in precision animal nutrition, will highlight the technological, scientific and commercial advances that support its growth in Europe and its ability to meet the evolving needs of animal industries.
From November 10 to 13, Jefo will welcome customers, partners and industry professionals at Hall 20, Booth C26, where visitors can discover its latest innovations in precision intestinal nutrition, its microencapsulation technology, and the solutions developed to help producers achieve ever higher-performing and more sustainable animal production.
Support for Jefo’s Ambitions in Europe
The industrial and scientific investments of the Jefo Group are a major lever of Jefo Europe’s 2026–2029 strategic plan. Through the expansion of its research and production capacity, the company intends to continue its growth in European markets while strengthening its ability to support producers in facing tomorrow’s challenges.
The strategic investment of CAD $256.4 million (€159 million), announced in March 2026 with the support of several Québec and Canadian government bodies, includes the addition of new production lines at Jefo Technologies, the company’s second plant, inaugurated in 2023, as well as the creation of a new poultry research centre and an experimental feed mill dedicated to developing and validating new nutritional solutions.
Over time, these initiatives will significantly increase Jefo’s production capacity for non-medicated nutritional solutions while accelerating research and development for the ruminant, poultry, swine, aquaculture and companion animal sectors. This expansion will enable Jefo to better meet the needs of an ever-changing European market while supporting its international growth.
“European market expectations for responsible production, sustainability and reduced antibiotic use in livestock farming are among the highest in the world,” says Emilie Fontaine, Vice President, Brand and Products, Jefo Nutrition Inc. “With this investment, Jefo is taking a new step in the development of its precision intestinal nutrition and is giving itself the means to accelerate innovation and increase its production capacity to support the rapid evolution of the global agri-food industry.”
From Research to Practical Solutions
The new poultry research centre and experimental feed mill are part of the CIRRAA ecosystem (Collectif d’Innovation, de Recherche et de Référence en Agroalimentaire), a collaborative initiative bringing together several major players in the agri-food sector.
By covering the entire value chain, from applied research to real-world trials, this ecosystem helps accelerate the development, validation and deployment of innovative solutions that meet producers’ needs.
“EuroTier is a prime opportunity to speak directly with producers, nutritionists and industry partners,” adds Emilie Fontaine. “These exchanges help us better understand the challenges in the field and turn our scientific expertise into practical solutions that create value for animal industries.”
Innovations Showcased at EuroTier
At the heart of Jefo’s approach, Jefo Matrix® technology relies on a microencapsulation process designed to protect active nutritional ingredients and ensure their targeted release in the digestive tract. At EuroTier 2026, visitors will have the opportunity to discover this technology and its practical applications, both nutritional and technological, notably to address challenges related to ingredient protection and feed manufacturing constraints.
This expertise also makes it possible to meet animals’ specific nutritional needs at different stages of their lives. In dairy cows, the period around calving is a particularly demanding transition, requiring close attention to nutritional balance and metabolic preparation in order to support an optimal transition into lactation.
The first hours and days of a calf’s life are also a decisive period. During this phase of great vulnerability, appropriate nutritional care helps meet its needs and gives it the best possible conditions to begin its development.
At EuroTier 2026, Jefo will present a range of nutritional solutions developed to address these challenges and support producers in managing these key stages. This approach draws on scientific expertise, technological innovation and a practical understanding of the challenges encountered in the field.
The event will give customers and partners the opportunity to engage with Jefo’s European and international teams on the issues and opportunities shaping the future of animal nutrition.
Innovation in the Service of Sustainability
Beyond its industrial and scientific investments, Jefo is pursuing a clear ambition: to support animal industries toward production models that are ever more sustainable, high-performing and efficient.
“At Jefo, sustainability guides each of our innovation decisions. Our ambition is to help producers produce better with fewer resources, keeping animal health and farm efficiency at the heart of our concerns. This investment gives us the means to accelerate this transition on a global scale,” concludes Emilie Fontaine.
