On January 17, 2018, Jean Fontaine, President and Founder of Jefo Nutrition, was awarded the Honoris Causa distinction at the Gala Cérès, part of the Salon de l’Agriculture in Saint-Hyacinthe. This honor recognized his significant contributions to Quebec's agri-food sector.
