Jefo Accelerates Market Development in Malaysia Through Strategic Leadership Appointment

Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec, Canada, October 27, 2026 — Jefo Nutrition Inc., a global leader in the field of high-precision non-medicated nutritional solutions for farm animals, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Nafisah Mydin as Technical Sales Manager - Malaysia, effective October 1st, 2026.

In this role, Dr. Nafisah will lead the development and execution of Jefo's commercial strategy in Malaysia, strengthen relationships with customers and industry partners, and contribute to the company's continued growth in one of Southeast Asia's most dynamic livestock production markets.

Dr. Nafisah is a veterinarian with more than a decade of experience in poultry health, farm management, technical consultancy, and technical sales. She holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Universiti Putra Malaysia and is currently pursuing a Master of Veterinary Science (MVSc.) in Avian Medicine. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with poultry producers and industry stakeholders across the country, developing extensive expertise in poultry health and disease management, farm performance optimization, product evaluation, technical training, customer engagement, and market development.

She is also actively involved in the poultry veterinary community as Treasurer of the World Veterinary Poultry Association (WVPA) Malaysia and previously served as Lead Treasurer for the WVPA Congress 2025 in Kuching, which brought together more than 1,800 participants from 69 countries.

Her strong technical background and customer-centric approach will contribute to Jefo's mission of delivering science-based nutritional solutions tailored to the evolving needs of Malaysian producers. Malaysia’s poultry sector continues to face evolving challenges, including the need to maintain productivity and flock health amid changing disease pressures, rising production costs, and increasing expectations for sustainable and responsible production.

Producers are also seeking practical strategies to optimize feed efficiency, strengthen animal resilience, and reduce reliance on antibiotics while maintaining performance. These challenges underscore the importance of strong technical expertise, close collaboration with producers, and tailored nutritional solutions adapted to local production conditions. As the industry responds to these challenges, new opportunities continue to emerge for innovation, knowledge transfer, and long-term growth.
